Date25 September 1912
DescriptionThere now being three reports on [Jagadis Chunder] Bose's paper on 'The Velocity of transmission of excitation in Mimosa', all differing in their recommendations, the Biological Secretary thinks that the question of publishing the paper must be reserved for decision by the appropriate Committee or Committees. The paper has been to two physiologists as well as to Oliver, but if he thinks that his Committee will deal with it then there will only need be one meeting. In the meantime, Harrison is sending an addendum to the paper from Professor Vines [no enclosures].
