TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr William Napier Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 October 1912
Description£50 out of the grant of £450 was allotted for expenses of setting up the Omori Seismogaph at Eskdalemuir. The sum of £36.0.0 was paid [to] Munro on 10 October 1911 for such work, leaving a balance of £13.10.0 available. If this balance has not been absorbed in the meantime by other expenses it is available to cover the account for Carruthers for piers. Previous payments on account of such grants have been made direct from the Royal Society, and thinks this would also be best in this case.
