DescriptionHis letter of 23 October, making a request for the memorial of the 250th Anniversary of the Royal Society for the Selbourne Library, has been submitted to the President [Sir Archibald Geikie]. He directs Harrison to say that, having regard to the great expense of preparing the facsimile Charter Book signatures and the new edition of the Record, the Society is unable to extend the presentation list for these volumes.
