TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor G [George] Carey Foster FRS
Date4 December 1912
Description'I presume there ought to be a meeting of the Library Committee before its term, as at presentconstituted, expires, that is this month. There is not much active business to present to them so far as I am aware, beyond a few applications for exchange, and settling a list of distribution for the new catalogue of Periodicals; but I suppose they ought to meet.
You will probably agree that it is desirable if possible to secure the attendance of our new Secretary, Professor Schuster, at the meeting, and if it suited you he could attend on Friday the 20th at 3-0, or on an earlier day that week; but I think Friday would suit him best. Would you mind letting me have a word on the enclosed postcard by return to say that the date I have mentioned or another would suit you, assuming that a meeting is desirable.
Do you not think that a copy of the new catalogue should be sent gratis to every number of the Library Committee.'
