Description'A letter came this morning from the Treasury assenting to the renewal of Lord Rayleigh's terms of office on the National Physical Laboratory, and proposing a period of two years, subject to the concurrence of the Council. I am sending word to Lord Rayleigh and Dr Glazebroook.
I enclose a copy of the list of papers you selected for the first meeting in January. I think you must have carried off the list you wrote out as I cannot find it here, but I send the copy in any case.'
