Title Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Solicitor of the Provincial Bank of Ireland, 8 Throgmorton Avenue, EC
Date10 January 1913
Description'Rosse Fund.
I have received a letter relating to a fund which was handed over to the Royal Society under a scheme settled a few years ago for the administration of the observatories under the Meteorological Office. The capital of this fund is now invested in the Society's name, but the whole of it appears not to have been transferred at the time of the general transfer.
I shall be much obliged by your reading the letter, of which I enclose a copy, and informing me whether Dr Boeddicker's suggestion that we should apply to you in the matter is a proper one, or whether we should apply to the executors of the late Lord Rosse. In the latter even perhaps you would be good enough to inform me who the executors are and where they are to be found.'
