Description'At the request of Sir Arthur Church on your behalf I have had made a copy of the extract of a letter from Volta to Cavallo preserved in the Archives of the Royal Society, and I have now the pleasure to enclose you the copy in the cope that it will be of service to the Commission which is engaged upon the publication of a complete edition of the works of Volta, as mentioned in your letters of November 28th and December 16th last.'
