Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor [Arthur] Schuster |
Date | 13 January 1913 |
Description | Harrison has sent Cuthbertson's paper to Mr Porter, asking him to return it by the 21st. Schuster ought not to have been summoned to the Relief Committee this week, it was the mistake of a Clerk. Harrison will not trouble Schuster with a discussion of the Standing Orders, but writes that what he says about the Standing Order 40 is practically quite true. Harrison writes to gain Schuster's opinion on two questions. Firstly regarding Mr Donald's paper in view of the strong remarks made upon the value of the paper. Harrison asks whether the Royal Society is justified in printing his list of practical applications, or suggests a sentence which may be enough to say at the end of the first paragraph. Second whether to return Hardy's paper to him. |
