Title Copy letter from John Rose Bradford, Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor R [Reginald] C [Crundall] Punnett FRS
Date15 January 1912
Description'In reply to your letter of the 12th instant, the Treasury agreed many years ago that it was not necessary for a member of a Board to resign because he is applying for a grant, and at the present moment there are six members serving on Boards who receive grants. The practice is for the member of the Board to retire from the meeting during the discussion of his application.
In these circumstances I hope you will see your way to serve on Board F.'
