TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Inspector, Gas Light & Coke Company, Horseferry Road, SW
Date20 January 1913
Description'I am much obliged by your letter relating to the gas stove in use in this building. Having regard, however, to the length of time it has been in use, the original list price of the stove, and the amount we have already paid for its hire, and to the fact that it is no longer of the market, I think the price, £4.2 that you ask for its purchase is too high and not such as I can recommend the Treasurer to pay.'
