Title Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Secretary, Newspaper Society, 346 Strand, WC
Date20 January 1913
Description'In reply to your letter of the 17th, lectures are not delivered before the Royal Society, but papers are read at the Thursday afternoon meetings of the Society during the Session from November to June. Reporters are only admitted to the meetings by authority of the President and on the understanding that discussions on papers are not reported. If you care to send a representative here on any of the afternoons mentioned on the enclosed card I have no doubt authority can be obtained for him to attend the meetings. The papers read at Meetings are advertised in "The Times" on Thursday.'
