Title Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr R D Kleeman
Date25 January 1913
Description'I have now had an opportunity of consulting the Director of the Meteorological Office upon your letter of the 20th instant, and he authorizes me to say that the regulations which are already in your hands are intended to cover the prosecution of investigations having a bearing on the work of the Observatory such as you mention in your letter; so that the particular research you refer to would be quite in order under the terms of the appointment of Superintendent.
With regard to your second question, the Director tells me that the endowment assurance would become the property of the Superintendent in the event of his leaving the service.'\
