TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to J W Hotson, Department of Botany, Seattle, Washington, USA
Date13 February 1913
Description'Referring to your letter of ~January 25th, the memoirs in the Philosophical Transactions are issued separately, but it is otherwise with the Proceedings, which are published only in numbers. We have no classified list of the articles published, and I fear therefore you will have to rely upon the indexes to the volumes of the Transactions and Proceedings. We send our publications to the Patent Office, Washington, and the Smithsonian Institution: also to the Department of Agriculture. I might however refer you to the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature published in London, and subscribed for largely in the United States. From this you would probably find all you want in the subject you mention, so far as anything published since 1900 is concerned. It is published annually in 17 sectional volumes and the Botany Volumes would probably give you all your require.'
