Date4 March 1913
Description'In accordance with the request contained in your postcard of March 2nd, I have resuspended the certificate of Mr A C Tansley for the 1914 election. I find that of Professor R H Biffen , however, "has ceased to be valid under the five years rule" (Statutes, Chapter I, Sectional XI). A fresh certificate would therefore be required to renew Professor Biffen's candidature, and would have to be sent in here by January 1st next.'
