TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor [Arthur] Schuster
Date7 March 1913
Description'The enclosed letter ought to have been brought to you for signature before you left yesterday. If you will kindly sign it and return it here, it can be press copied before despatch.
I have been in communication with Dr Shaw about that letter of Dr C T Walker's on the subject of Barometric Units, and find that he has in hand a memorandum on the question to go round with the letter. He is going to consult you about it; so the matter is in train.
We are arranging for a pull of the first proof of every A paper to be sent to you direct from the printers so soon as it is set up. Mr White has no remembrance of your having expressed a desire for this before, or it would have been attended to. A cable from America came this morning addressed to you, but I gave instructions without opening it that it should be telegraphed on to you at once, as I knew you were expecting one.'
