DescriptionThe General Assembly of the International Association of Academies will take place in May next year in St Petersburg and the Imperial Academy of Sciences in St Petersburg is the directing academy. The meeting will be attended by delegates from the constituent Academies.
The Royal Society is sending four delegates to the Assembly; Professor Arthur Schuster, Lieutenant Colonel Sir David Prain, Professor Charles Scott Sherrington, Professor Herbert Hall Turner. Harrison asks the Russian ambassador to afford special facilities in the form of passports or an official document, to render entry of these gentlemen into Russia.
