TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr Charles Chree FRS
Date2 April 1913
DescriptionProfessor Schuster leaves for America tomorrow, and Harrison was able to consult him upon Chree's letters on the subject of the discussion of the Antarctic magnetic data. Professor Schuster thinks nothing can be dont about the observations until Lady Scott's return to England as he believes them to be her property, she is likely to hand them over to the Antarctic Committee which is collection funds for their publication.
With regard to the payment of expenses incurred for the reduction of magnetic observations, Dr Simpson is responsible, but Schuster thinks it would be better if no further claim were made on him. Harrison will consult the Treasurer about whether the amount can be advanced by the Royal Society.
