TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to H Thirkill MA
Date14 April 1913
DescriptionThirkill's paper on the recombination of the Ions produced by Rontgen Rays in gases and vapours has been under consideration and Harrison inform him that it is proposed to recommend it to Council for publications, subject to some modification.
Harrison suggests that the description is experimental detail is unnecessarily elaborate, and much space is given to a comparison of the results. Harrison points out that the author's aim is to measure the coefficient when the initial peculiarities have been dissipated: which is a very desirable piece of work; there is no necessity to explain the divergencies of his results.
