DescriptionTheir letter of 10 May requesting the Royal Society to write to the Prime Minister with regard to facilities to be given for discussion in Parliament of legislation to prohibit the importation of the feathers and plumage of wild birds for millinery purposes was laid before the President and Council at their meeting yesterday, and regretfully they could not see their way to take the action proposed.
