TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to J G Thomson, Royal Southern Hospital, Liverpool
Date28 June 1913
DescriptionIn response to his letter of yesterday, Harrison can only inform him of the decision, which was communicated to Sir Ronald Ross, with regards to his paper, namely that is was proposed to be recommended for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' but the Committee is of the opinion that it could be shortened considerably, and that one plate would be enough. Ross agrees with this. If Thomson cannot see his way to adopting these suggestions, Harrison would like to know no later than Thursday. Does not understand what he means when he says 'the original manuscript as accepted by the Royal Society'. The paper has so far only been accepted for reading, not publication.
