| Description | Adverting to George Murray's letter of 17 November 1910, relating to the disposition of the unexpended balance of the National Antarctic Expedition Fund, and assenting to that balance being paid into the fund of the British Antarctic Expedition [BAE] subject to a reservation on behalf of the Lords of the Treasury, Kempe shall be obliged by the Secretary informing him whether any claims chargeable upon this balance have been made on the Treasury, and if not, whether the Royal Society may now take steps to have the whole amount of the balance made available for the BAE. |
