TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Micaiah John Muller] Hill, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date21 October 1913
DescriptionWas trying a great part of yesterday, but in vain, to get speech of him on the telephone, before sending out the notices of a meeting of Hill's [Mathematics] Committee on Friday. In default of a consultation Harrison could not do otherwise than issue a summons, having regard to the specific resolution passed at the last meeting. There is very little business for the Committee to discuss, especially if Professor Lamb agrees to report on the Havelock paper. Wonders if he thinks it is necessary to call a Committee at all for so little. If not, there is still time to propose a meeting to some later time.
