TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Charles Herbert] Lees, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date9 May 1913
DescriptionThey have been at cross purposes regarding the papers recently reported to Lees. On Professor [Arthur] Schuster's instructions, Harrison has already written to Professor Pope to ask him if he will consent to report on Travers paper, part one of the same series having been reported on by the late H O Jones.

Schuster thought that Macdonald would be the most suitable referee for Chapman's paper on 'Variations of the Earth's magnetism' because [Charles] Chree has been ill again and had had a good many papers referred to him lately. Schuster also suggested Professor [Ernest] Rutherford as a referee for Harker and Kaye's paper. Hopes Lees concurs.
