TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to H L Fairchild, Secretary, Geological Society of America, Rochester, N.Y. [New York]
Date18 December 1891
Description'Dear Sir,
I am obliged by your letter of Oct. 25th. It appears that the Library Committee mis-understood your former application. They acted on the assumption that it was an application for exchange of publications, and our exchange-list has of late increased to such an extent that they found themselves obliged, regretfully, to decline the offer. Of course, if you are really willing to send, hoping for nothing again, we shall be very glad to receive your publications and keep them upon our shelves.
I am, Dear Sir,
Yours very truly,
H Rix
