In answer to your letter of February 26th requesting the President & Council to give their assent to an application being made to the Board of Trade for a License under the Company's Act to grant the Meteorological Council the status of a corporation, I am directed to inform you that at a recent meeting of the Council, it was agreed to assent to this proposal.
