TitleCopy letter from John Evans, to Messrs Savill & Son
Date20 March 1891
DescriptionEvans is obliged for the sight of the letters of John Flamsteed which he has left with Herbert Rix for inspection. If Savill & Son can let him know the value of them, he will recommend them for purchase providing the price is moderate. He does not like to suggest a price when the items are offered for purchase and he does not know what the Library committee may think, but he should consider five pounds as about the right value.
