TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Capitains Le Clere, French Naval Attaché, Walsingham House, Piccadilly, W.
Date4 January 1892
DescriptionRix reports, with reference to their interview the previous Saturday, that having submitted his question to the Secretaries of the Royal Society, he has been instructed to assure Le Clere that they have no intention of removing the Depot de la Marine from the list of instiutions to which the publications of the Royal Society are presented. This consideration, therefore, need not prevent the transfer of the charts formerly presented to the Society, to the Bodleian Library.
