Description | Rix states that they have unexpectedly learnt that Professor Marshall Ward's paper on the "Ginger-beer Plant" was only intended as an abstract. On a recent visit Ward insisted that the word 'abstract' be inserted, and would not allow it to be called a 'preliminary notice'. He states that it cannot be an abstract as they do not have the full paper, and so the two parts would have different dates. Rix asks for Foster's advice as to what he should do. |
