The Fellows of the Royal Society of London assembled to-day at an Ordinary Meeting determined at once to adjourn in consequence of the great sorrow which has befallen the Nation through the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Clarence and Avondale and in doing ^so^ desired permission to convey to your Royal Highness a sincere expression of their deepfelt sympathy with you in this terrible affliction.
