TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Sons, Ave Maria Lane, E.C.
Date16 January 1892
DescriptionRix responds to their letter of 15 June, and states that he thoroughly searched for their letter of 6 June 1889 before sending the memorandum to Messrs Harrison & Company, and believes it must have gone to the Treasurer's private residence with the rest of the correspondence. As it cannot now be found, he asks if it would be difficult to send a copy.

He states that the arrangement they suggest is desirable, and so will write to their Treasurer to check if he has any objections to adopting it.

Rix also encloses a note from Professor Arthur Rücker, a member of their Catalogue Committee, who requests a half morocco copy instead of the cloth copy he is entitled to, but is willing to pay the difference. He asks if they can arrange this for Rücker.
