TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr H C Hounslow, 31 Lynton Road, Crouch End, N.
Date3 February 1892
Description'Dear Sir,
We are put to the greatest possible inconvenience by your delay in sending the photograph of Joule's MS [manuscript]. Neither Dr Schuster nor Prof. Osborne Reynolds has yet received it from you, and they have both repeatedly written to me. Please send me word how soon you can undertake to send the print. If you cannot let us have it in the course of the present week, I must get the MS. [manuscript] photographed again by some other person, and the loss will, of course, be yours.
Yours truly,
Herbert Rix
Asst. Sec. RS. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
