Description | Rix reports that some members of the Royal Society's Catalogue Committee believe that the supplementary volume has been planned on too extensive a scale, and so have directed him to ask that Nicholson mark on the enclosed list, the periodicals which might, in view of his own science, be omitted without damaging the value of the catalogue.
The Committee also wanted Rix to bring his attention to the papers in 'Electricity & Magnetism' and similiar, but Rix believes that this has already been provided for in his consultation with Mr Holmes. |
