TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Edmund Johnson, 1 Furnival Street, Holborn
Date7 April 1891
DescriptionIn reference to Johnson's letter in that morning's 'Times' newspaper, Rix calls attention to his use of the letters F.R.S.S. after his name to indicate that he is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. He notes that when they became the Royal Statistical Society they agreed not to use those letters, and further points out that on page three of this year's list and regulations, that Fellows of that society are requested by their Council to use only the letters F.S.S.
