Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Walter Frank Raphael Weldon, Fellow of the Royal Society, University College |
Date | 10 April 1891 |
Description | Rix has talked to the Royal Society officers about Weldon's suggested exhibit on behalf of the Marine Biological Association, and they believe that the exhibit would be 'of such an attractive nature' that they should perhaps save it for the ladies' night on 17 June. He asks, therefore, if Weldon would be happy for this to occur. Rix also points out that this would allow longer for Weldon to prepare, and states that he is inclined, if they cannot have it on both occasions, to keep it for the second event.
Rix will let Weldon know about electrical arrangements as soon as he has communicated with their electricians. |
