Description | With regard to the Duke of Norfolk's mortgage, Rix encloses a cheque for 3,200 pounds to sign and send to Messrs Few & Company. He points out that he has not filled in the name, as he does not know in whose favour the cheque is to be drawn, and so asks that Evans fill it in and inform him what to write on the counterfoil.
Rix believes that the interest should be paid to Robarts, Lubbock & Company, as in the case of Long's mortgage. He returns Few's letter. |
