TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society]
Date20 April 1891
DescriptionRix thinks he should have explained, unless Dr Michael Foster has already done so, that the proof sent to Rayleigh by the printers on Saturday is for him to correct. In case this was not understood, Rix encloses another copy, to be altered as necessary and returned, to be received by Wednesday morning at the latest. He will then just have time to have copies printed and circulated before Council.

Rix supposes that the "corrections" are simply meant to be the assignment of certain men to certain sciences.
