TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Edward Whymper, Surrey House, Victoria Embankment, W.C.
Date24 April 1891
DescriptionRix expresses their gratitude at his offer of the illustrations to the Andes, and states that they would be glad to have them, though would prefer to keep them for their Ladies Soirée on 17 June, unless his book will be published by that time. They would prefer to show the engravings at their May Soirée if the book will have been published by June, so they are fresh to the public.

He asks Whymper to complete the enclosed form, and specify if June will be acceptable.
