TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Archibald Geikie, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 April 1891
DescriptionRix responds to Geikie's note about the table case, stating that they have been trying to borrow cases for him as their own are so small as to be useless for his purposes; unfortunately, the Society of Antiquaries want all their cases for their exhibit, which they are going to send to the Royal Society on that evening. He remarks that they will again have to rely on the good nature of Geikie's people, unless the Geological Society have a case with which they can accomodate him.

Rix wonders whether next year they should appeal to their Treasurer to supply them with a stock of show cases.
