TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Robert Walker, University Library, Aberdeen
Date25 May 1891
DescriptionRix suspects that Walker has overlooked the rule printed at the top of the list of those entitled to receive 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', which states that it is necessary for applications to be made as often as they wish to receive the volumes, unlike the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' which are simply posted as printed.

He will take Walker's letter of 21 May as such an application, and it will be filed as a receipt. The volumes will be despatched to him today by rail.
