TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, Charterhouse, E.C.
Date29 May 1891
DescriptionRix states that the Royal Society have invited John Whitaker Hulke to act as their representative on the Governing Body of Charterhouse as Dr [Peter Martin] Duncan's successor, but that Hulke has only been able to accept provisionally, as it would be impossible for him to attend on Thursdays. Hulke asks if the usual day of the meetings is Thursday. Rix therefore asks if the Secretary will send him word of whether they have a usual day of the week for Governors' meetings.
