TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Herbert Tomlinson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date3 June 1891
DescriptionRix has been instructed by Lord Rayleigh to inquire whether a change of title of Tomlinson's paper 'Part III - Magnetic Induction...', as proposed by Tomlinson, is necessary. He is unaware of whether the alteration was made in consultation with the paper's referee or due to internal changes to the text, but Rayleigh states that it should be avoided where possible due to the inconvenience caused.

Rix requests an answer that night, as the Committee of Papers due to deal with his manuscript are to meet the next day.
