DescriptionWaller's letter of 18 June was read to the President and Council of the Royal Society at their last meeting, and Foster has been directed to convey their response; namely that they do not need to be told that what occurs at their meetings is of a strictly confidential character until it is officially made known, and cannot take into consideration any communication to which "currency has been given", except in an official capacity.
