TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Oliver Joseph Lodge, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date6 July 1891
Description'Dear Prof Lodge,
Many thanks for your note of the 4th inst [instant]. There is not the slightest necessity to send any official intimation to Mr Heaviside. The only official intimation needed is to report to the Scientific Relief Committee what the Council has done. This I am in a position to do now that I know that Mr Heaviside acquiesces in their action.
Yours faithfully,
H Rix
