Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Victor Horsley, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 28 February 1891 |
Description | Rix states that Horsley's appendix is to hand, and his instruction as to insertion has been noted.
He presumes that Horsley's requested number of copies relates to the full paper, and explains that there will be a form to complete which was sent with the proof. Meanwhile, Rix explains that the Society gives only 100, with 50 additional copies to be had at cost price, but he would need leave of Council for a further 250 copies. Horsley will then have to pay for 400, but Rix does not know what the cost will be; although it he suspects that it will not be very high, as it will only include paper and printing, and not the type-setting cost. Messrs Harrison & Sons will be able to tell them the cost. |
