TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to J H Mummery, 10 Cavendish Place, W.
Date10 July 1891
DescriptionRix explains that a recent note from Professor Edward Albert Schafer states that he asked Mummery to inform the artist who was to reproduce the illustrations, and was to call upon him to discuss the manner in which they were to be arranged on the four plates. He wonders whether Schafer was expecting him to send an artist to Mummery, but he did not know that Schafer and Mummery had even had an interview, or that they had come to any agreement regarding plates.

Rix states that there has been a misunderstanding, and asks if there is any particular artist favoured by Mummery and Schafer for the work. If not, he will send it to their usual artist.
