TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date13 July 1891
DescriptionRix states that as he does not find any remark from Foster about Professor Parker's paper, he is putting away the reports for the Committee of Papers, and asks if this is correct. He encloses two proofs of the card of meetings, arrranged according to old Statutes, and quotes from the new Statutes relating to exceptions to the weekly meetings. Rix has taken out the week following Christmas week, and the week of the Royal Society's Anniversary meeting. He reflects that the new statute appears to allow these weeks to be replaced, and Rix wants to know whether there is any likelihood of their being replaced in the list.
