Description | Rix reports that the opinion of the mathematical Fellows consulted, is in favour of the type suggested by Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt]. With regard to Rayleigh's own paper, if the small numerals cannot with certainty be placed corrected by justification, he would prefer that the specimen column be reinserted and the paper printed in its original form. The new type is likely to take a while to cost.
Mr Harrison saw Rayleigh, and knows the requirements to be met in making the new type. |
