TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society]
Date28 July 1891
Description'Dear Sir,
In March 1890 Mr Common offered two mirrors, mounted equatoreally for the acceptance of the Royal Society. In April this offer was accepted & the Sec. [Secretary] directed to return thanks. I dare say this was done, but I find no letter in the letter book. But, if so, what became of the mirrors? Were they ever delivered to the Royal Society? & what is going to be done with them? Who would know?
Yours truly
H Rix'.
