TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Mr L B Fleming, Norwood Villa, Hanwell
Date23 September 1891
DescriptionEncloses Messrs [Francis] Gotch and [Victor] Horsley's plates (29-35) for press, noting that they require 1425 of each plate. Horsley is to travel to Berlin in October and wishes to take some copies of the paper with him, so they request that Fleming does what he can to hasten the printing.

They also request that they abandon their recent habit of using an oblique style of writing for plate-numbers, as this destroys the uniformity of the volume. A specimen plate is sent to demonstrate the style to be adopted, and a request that they correct plate numbers 29 to 31 to an upright style if it can be done quickly, but to let it pass if it would cause delays.
