TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to General Richard Strachey, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date8 March 1891
DescriptionFoster asks that Strachey look at the enclosed manuscript and see if it would be wanted by the Royal Geographic Society, as it does not seem suitable for the Royal Society. If he would like it, he may keep the manuscript, and Foster will write to the author to let him know. If he does not, he should return it along with any advise he wishes to give.

Strachey will see in the circular letter in the Royal Society elections that he has left a blank for the final correct authorial calculations.
